I love the colors in this beautiful indienne piece from France! This antique textile is from the 1870s and has a wonderful printed pattern of exotic floral and tropical foliage ~ This piece is an indienne and it is gorgeously drawn and detailed! This piece is a linen cotton blend, with a grayed white , aged ground, and has been hand block printed with a fantastic purple, res red and pink floral design! This fabric is a medium weight ~ Ideal for pillows, light popular upholstery , framing, design inspiration, and many other wonderful sewing projects! ~*~ ( please see my other textiles for a matching piece)

MEASUREMENTS: This wonderful textile measures approximately 32 inches wide and 32 inches long.

CONDITION : This piece is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. Some pale marks on this piece which may wash. this fabric can be hand washed and hung to dry . There are a few very small holes ~ This piece is not in perfect condition and has some signs of time and use , inherent in these fabulous antique fabrics!
