Moorish Design - Derived from the Arabic word Al-Qasr (palace), the Alcázar collection is inspired by the geometric patterns decorating the walls of the Royal Alcázar of Seville, Spain. The palace was originally a Moorish fort built during Muslim rule by the first Caliph of Andalucia, and is why it has such prominent architectural Islamic geometry.
