This is a gorgeous vintage Ralph Lauren pair of standard pillow cases in the retired Kimberly pattern from the French Country Collection which debuted in 1987. The Kimberly pattern has a powdery slate blue background with lush pink cabbage roses (my favorite), lily of the valley, tulips and more in rose red, white, yellow and green. The powdery slate blue background looks characteristically faded, and was that way when new. "... personality of a country weekend. ...this casual pattern reflects a simple, authentic sensibility."

It is absolutely stunning in person and its coloring works very well in the romantic French country cottage or shabby Victorian home. The luxurious pair of standard sized pillow cases is 100% combed cotton, made in the USA.

This item is vintage, and has been used and laundered. It is quite soft and comfortable.
