This sash is handmade on a loom using sheep wool. It is inspired by the traditional L'Assomption style sash made in L'Assomption, Québec whose earliest known origins came from the 18th century (1700's). L'Assomption sashes are the earliest known sash designs. This pattern was popular designed by Carol James, a fiber artist from Saint Boniface Manitoba.

All fringes are twisted by colour.
