Vintage Carved Balinese, Hand Painted Cat. This sweet folk art reclining cat has been hand carved in Bali, Indonesia from a tropical wood. The reclining cat has been hand painted a bright white with the popular traditional Chinese ‘Blue Willow' pattern on its back, body, head and ears, this was beautifully done by a member of our team.
He has a wonderful whimsical look about him, he measures approximately 12” x 8” x 3” inches. He has some scuffs and scrapes but in a nice well loved condition. He would be fun in a beautiful blue and white country style home, kitchen, or coastal living space, curled up on the hearth in front of a fire (not to close) and just think no litter tray to clean. A fun Folk Art piece.
