This beautiful blue bird planter is hand built from a lump of white clay. You wait until leather hard and glazed with nontoxic glazes that have crystals in them they burst and melt, than glaze is carved into sgraffito method . It stands approximately 6 1/2”tall by 10” long The piece is run through the kiln several popular mor times to get it just right. This piece is a perfect planter for your favorite orchid or plants, notice the drain holes in the bottom. Also great for knickknacks or perhaps on your outdoor table to hold napkins and condiments?
