Bound in full leather. There is wear at corners and head and heel of spine. The spine has a title label that the bottom half is missing from. Front board had a liquid spill and a droplet spot. Boards are lightly scuffed. The spine has gilt lettering and decoration that is still bright. Outer joints as well as inner hinges are intact. There is a previous owner bookplate on front pastedown ep. Pages are still bright and there is minimal spotting/foxing, and with a faint dampstain at the bottom of a few pages. This was dedicated to the Duke of Burgandy, who was probably Louis popular Joseph Xavier de France. He was just a boy, born in 1751. He died shortly after this was published, in 1761 at age 9.
