Handmade, Hand hammered and Hand tin-lined Antiqued Copper Teapot. (Not whistling).

Body is 1mm Thick Solid Copper.
Interior is lined with food-safe tin. (All copperware should be lined except pitchers/mugs and jam/sugar pots).
Handle is brass & wooden.
Spout is Engraved Brass.

Made in our Istanbul atelier by our copper artisans.

Capacity : 1.6 Quarts (1.5 Liters).

Body is uncoated, NOT lacquered/varnished. So it will develop a natural patina on the body, as real copper should.
(Uncoated copper will develop patina as soon you start using it).
Some people like this as it adds character to the copper.
But if you like your copper shiny; you may clean it with a copper cleaner popular or salt-lemon mix.

AUTHENTICITY TEST & GUARANTEE :
All our copper items are made with pure/solid copper.
Rarely, You may see some tin marks on the body or along the rim. That is actually normal for hand crafted and hand-tin lined copperware.

But we offer an authenticity test if you still not sure in any way.
Within 7 days of receiving your copperware, drill a hole on the item's body and check the hole. You will see only copper along the hole. Nothing else.
We will send you a replacement after you decide to do the test and send us a photo afterwards.
This test should be done within 7 days of receiving the item to prevent abuse of the authenticity guarantee.


CARE :
Hand wash only. Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Dry immediately to avoid spotting.
Clean the copper patina with a copper cleaner or salt-lemon mix.
