Late 1940s/ Early 1950s fabulous pair of women's shoes. They are black leather that is still supple which says a lot about the quality. They feature a peep toe and a perky bow at the vamp. So, as well as being in fabulous condition, they are also eye catching and so sweet. The heel is 2 3/4" high.
The instep inside reads "Hine's Winston Salem, Rythum Step. As popular you can see from the pic showing the bottom of the shoes, it appears that they have never been worn or if so, very little. There is absolutely no wear damage what so ever, especially considering that they are 60+ years old.
Measurements:
Possibly a 5-6 and they are a slim fit however please go by the measurements
9 3/4" from one end of the heel to end of toe-taken outside 2 7/8" across ball of foot-taken outside
1 6/8" across instep-taken inside Heel 2 3/4" high
Condition:
Vintage near perfect. There is one teeny dot at edge of bow that looks like a red dot they size of a pin head at the max.
VINTAGE CLOTHING and ACCESSORIES-I take great pains to look everything over carefully and will always disclose any flaws that I find HOWEVER as all is 20th C vintage, they are old, so a loose button, a pin prick or two, a few loose stitches here and there, I do not consider flaws.
