Rare, estate collection piece of old stock Metallic Midnight Blue and Purple Covellite from the popular Leonard Mine in Butte, Montana. This mine has been underwater since the late 50's. Covellite is hard to find and typical very expensive today with the only specimens available in older collections. This large and unique lustrous mineral specimen features the indigo and purple Covellite with Digenite, Chalcocite, Quartz, and golden Chalco pyrite within the matrix.
