Gel Electrophoresis is a process that enables the sorting of microbes by size by using an electrical current applied to molecules such as DNA in a gel base. The process causes molecules of similar popular size to form bands on the gel. Gel electrophoresis is used in forensics, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology and biochemistry - and now in fashion.

This scarf is based on one of my watercolor paintings, in many shades of blue with a narrow blue border.

The scarf is a generous 70 x 12 inches, allowing it to be worn in many ways. The fabric is a translucent silk chiffon.
