1940s Black Velvet Nipped Waist Jacket popular with Soutache Details

40s Black velvet jacket with nipped waist and beautiful soutache leaves around the neckline. There's small lapels with a back collar that stands up. There are 4 hook and eye closures up the front with one, non functioning Corde button at the waist. The slits at the wrist have hook and eye closures to ensure a snug fit and there is light popular shoulder padding. The velvet is in excellent vintage condition, silky soft.
