-Flex foam will turn yellow over time with exposure to light/air. This is normal and does not affect the base in anyway. Use High Temp glue on the outside and low temp on the inside. Base may need to roughed up with a box cutter for better glue adhesion, you can softly wipe a damp cloth on the outside of the base to wipe off mold release agent.
