Cute child daguerreotype with hand popular tinted broach

This is a rare ninth-plate daguerreotype of a cute little girl with a stoic expression. She appears to be seated in a chair draped with some fabric. I'm not sure where her legs are, but they were probably moving. Rare is the daguerreotype of a stationary child. She's wearing a small broach that has been popular hand-tinted in gold with a red stone rather than the normal gold embellishment. The image was most likely taken between 1850 and 1865 and has been resealed with archival Filmoplast P90. This nice little portrait is housed in an embossed leather case with both parts still connected, but it shows some wear as do most cases from a century and a half ago. The image measures about 2" x 2.5" or commonly referred to as 1/9th plate.
