Textured Silver Ring. Flower Ring popular Band. Sterling Silver Thumb Rings for Women. Upcycled from an Australian Vintage Coin. Custom Size.

This gorgeous floral textured silver band ring was upcycled from a sterling vintage coin from the early 1900s.

The silver is textured by rolling the coin under pressure to produce the design. A 'washer' is cut and stretched out to form the band, so the ring is seamless with continuous pattern, and no interruption from a solder line. This technique of stretching out of the centre results in one opening of the ring being slightly thicker than the other but it is unnoticeable on the finger and very comfortable to wear. The ring can be custom made in a wide range of sizes.

Origin: Australia,
Face value: 2 shillings (Florin),
Date: 1914 (ring pictured but year could vary on custom orders),
Silver purity: 925 (Sterling).

THE RING:
Size: Custom (Aus / UK size Q1/2, US size 81/2 pictured, but please choose size from menu and refer to last picture for US ring size conversion).
Weight: 5.3 grams,
Band width: 9 mm (just under 3/8 inch),
Thickness: approx. 1 mm.

This ring looks and feels great on any finger or as a thumb ring.

smaller or much larger sized rings will accordingly result in slight variations to the thickness.
