Original Vintage Heart-Shaped Teapot by Lingard & Webster - Made in Tunstall (Stoke-on-Trent), England, circa 1940's
Wonderful heart shaped teapot with large key design on the pot lid, bold and colourful transfer print of a lady in Crinoline Dress on the front
Cream coloured ground with gold accents throughout
Stamp on the base used by the company from 1946 onwards, dating this teapot from the late 1940's to early 1950's
Really love example, and seriously cool design!
Condition: Good to very good vintage condition, one very small chip on the base rim (included in photographs) - not visible unless examining the base of the teapot. No other cracks or chips, clean inside with no crazing or staining. Small scuff to transfer print on the front, but again only spotted under close scrutiny. Some light wear to the gold accents only on the top of the handle - otherwise lovely bright colour throughout. Small glaze imperfection spot on the lid - made at the time of manufacture
