Red popular Vintage Carved Basket with Dangling Cherries Early Plastic

popular This pin is in the original condition and the cherries stems have not been restemmed so you will see the coating on the string has worn away which makes this slightly fragile and it is priced accordingly. We did the "rub test" and do not believe this is bakelite but another early plastic. The shape is over a fruit basket with cascading cherries ( round beads) . There are 6 cherries. The plastic itself is dense and it feels like bakelite. It measures 2.27" long and is 2" wide.
