Product code: Labradorite Necklace - Labradorite Faceted popular Heishe Beads Necklace - Labradorite Beaded Necklace - Simple Classic Labradorite Strand Necklace

This Labradorite Faceted Heishe Beads Gemstone Necklace is approximately 17 inches long. It is made of faceted Labradorite heishe beads or wheels which are approximately 5mm in diameter and 2mm thick - the facets catch the light giving the stones extra shine.
As these are B / C + Grade hand faceted, natural gemstones please expect variance in the size, colors and flash capabilities of each bead.***

Necklace length includes the silver plated beads on each end of the strand which terminates in a silver popular plated lobster claw clasp and small tab loop (not as large as the figure 8 loop pictured).

This Labradorite necklace would be great for yourself or as a gift. It goes well with jeans or a little black dress. Perfect for someone of any age.

This necklace is built to last. The jump rings are secured and so it cannot fall apart on you.
Because Labradorite is an extremely hard gemstone, - almost glass like - please when you take it off set it down gently. Other than that, this necklace does not require a lot of special care. It is constructed so you can enjoy it for many years to come.

*** Tried to put most of the flashiest beads front and center on these necklaces - so Most of the beads on each end Do Not Flash (they're behind your neck anyway :^) .

Labradorite is a gemstone that is a member of the feldspar group, and is an opaque dark gray to grey-green stone with flashes of blue and green inside of it. It is known for its dark, iridescent sheen and play of light known as labradorescence. In some lights Labradorite is a soft gray or soft grey-blue/grey-green. When it catches the light it flashes blues and greens, and occasionally orange and gold.

Labradorite is credited with mystic attributes. It is a stone of transformation that brings light, and is alleged to enhance strength and perseverance by eliminating disturbing thoughts, insecurities and disappointments, thus helping you achieve your life's destiny. It is also thought to be especially helpful for people who tend to overwork by quieting us physically, emotionally and spiritually. It helps us regain our energy and helps with originality, precision, patience and intellectual thoughts. It is also credited with treating disorders of the brain, digestion and metabolism as well as reducing anxiety and stress. Labradorite is said to be a good protector for spiritual journeys and is a stone that strengthens the aura.

Labradorite's flashing colors have been connected with the northern lights. Legend has it that the northern lights were once imprisoned in stones on Labrador's coast. Although an Eskimo warrior released most of them with a blow from a spear, some of those extra ordinary lights remained trapped in the rock we now call Labradorite.

Labradorite is also called black moonstone and spectrolite and is named for Labrador, the peninsula where was first found in 1770. It has also been found in prehistoric gravesites among buried artifacts in Maine. As well as being found in Labrador, it can also be found in Mexico, Finland and Russia.
