Japanese Imari Porcelain round bowl had a ribbed fluted body along with its scalloped rim. Beautiful hand painted details. It has vibrant deep blue underglaze as well as the high gloss glazes of iron red, green and orange luster details, matte glazes of iron red and black. This is a fine example of late 19th or early 20th century Imari ware. This Imari functions and or displays beautifully.
Very good used condition, no cracks, chips, or repairs, shows some flaws within the glaze caused during its firing process, not uncommon of this style and age of porcelain pottery. All wear commensurate with its age. No marks found.
