Moon and clouds, night sky, popular nocturne

This is an 8"x 10" original oil painting of the moon and clouds glowing in the night sky.
Painted on an 8 x 10 Fredrix Pro series Belgian linen canvas board.

Nights when we have a moon in the sky I'll go out popular on our deck and do small oil sketches that capture the pattern of the clouds and how they are lit by the moon.
I'll keep these sketches which are on pieces of canvas as reference for future paintings.
