An illuminated love popular scene from the Codex Manesse manuscript

This illumination is taken from a medieval manuscript called Codex Manesse. It shows a love scene measuring 10.5 cm x 10.5 cm, on a thick 20 cm x 20 cm Arches premium paper. It has been painted with homemade tempera paint, brewed from powdered pigments, following a medieval recipe, with golden highlights.
