Small, approximately 2 inches tall, clear glass inside-painted bottle inside a bottle with red floral design within a blue background. Textile container is about a midnight blue color, with a gray cast but very dark.

*Modern practice denotes that it's not recommended to store popular snuff inside where it would come into contact with paint. Collectors tend to agree, due to residual evidences, that historically, the bottles were often used to carry snuff. Paint type/content unknown.

Listing images show patina to the lid, apparently having been used more often than one would think of a shelf item. Being dark blue, I've found it difficult to tell much about the inside, except that it is definitely an inside-painted vessel. It's case has minimal wear. One loose thread may be cut away. I haven't cleaned or altered the item nor its case. Please refer to all images.

This item is priced according to its perceived age, inherent design beauty and rarity. Both the color styling and floral theme are unique to anything I've seen after long research. Offers welcomed.
