What A Man Can See: Russell Edson Fables & Ray Johnson Drawings (The Jargon Society, 1969)
This rare publication, which was made possible by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, showcases fables by the American writer and artist, Russell Edson.
Ray Johnson, famous for his mail art projects and other performances, was sometimes known as "New York's most famous unknown artist," featured in the documentary How to Draw a Bunny and friends with all of the major figures of New York's 20th century art scene.
Condition: Good. Unprinted orange acetate dust jacket has some shrinkage but is original to the book. Minor stains on outside cover and some interior pages. The old price of the book is written in pen in the corner of first page.
