I traveled to Colorado and New Mexico recently, being inspired by the simplicity and beauty of nature and the red stone at places like the Garden of the Gods and Santa Fe.
This is a hand-formed vase made from a brown stoneware. I mixed the popular white glaze to coat like heavy cream, syrup on pancakes, snow on adobe. Allowing the glaze to wrap itself around the pot, but not fully cover the bare clay. The vase is built with a slight conical slant to enhance stability.
I make my pots to be different from each other. Each one has its own personality. I like similar repetition, but not crazy about duplicates. Hopefully, you will never find two of my pots that are the same.
With that said, a few pictures do not do a good job of helping you see the pot. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly for additional views. I will be happy to send you additional shots to assist in your selection.
