This is equipped with “Tech Drive” acceleration because of which the Kirby G4 can be driven forward and backward with incredible ease, which means this is self-propelled. But it can be turned off to just be able to push it manually. This is a very nice feature. That way you don't have to push the vacuum. It also has I believe five or six height settings and you can also vacuum hardwood floors. It can also be used as a canister vacuum to clean mattresses or furniture or your vehicle.
