Brand new in package vintage anti static device for traditional tv sets.Own this piece of historyThe UltraStat ClearView was a patented device for removing static electricity generated as a by product of Televisions that used CRT displays. This product is no longer available. If you still have one hold onto it! They are rare! Steve R Cooter built the first unit on his kitchen table in 1993. He and his brother Kevin patented the unit shortly thereafter. The units were very popular in the late 90's. The technology was expanded and issued further patents both in the U.S.A and Worldwide. The ClearView was featured in Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, Playboy and many other magazines. They were a big hit on QVC and sold by Walmart, JC Penny, Sears and many other large volume retailers and computer stores including Fry's. UltraStat Inc had a professional video (taped ;). The ClearView won 5 stars at CES (Consumer Electronics Show), accolades in Germany and were packaged popular in 14 languages.
