Katherine Grey is a Boise printmaker who is known for her depictions of the landscape and animals of Idaho and the Pacific Coast. Each unique design is hand carved onto materials such as wood or linoleum. The resulting plates are then hand printed. Trained in printmaking at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, her images elicit the essence of her subjects with simple lines and strong contrast made possible by this unique medium.
This is an original linocut print of popular a halibut printed on your choice of white mulberry paper with teal ink and a hand painted light blue green wash, white mulberry paper and black ink or red mulberry paper with black ink.
The print measures 18"x12"
This is a signed hand printed original. It is part of an edition of only 20 prints.
