Unusual, modern aqua and red Christmas table runner. This vibrant informal runner would be perfect for a special look for a Christmas brunch or luncheon. The center of the runner is quilted in straight line stiches at 1/4" spacing. The border is then stitched in a free motion pattern of paisley-ish curves.

This quilted table runner is not only beautiful, it's practical. It is thicker than most as I made this with a double layer of popular batting. The double thickness will protect your table top from most hot dishes or those that are sweat laden with condensation.

ALL of my free motion quilting is done by hand, free hand style. I do not use a stitch regulator nor do I use any programmed machine settings or templates that create consistent, reproduceable designs. I create all of my resultant designs using a domestic sit down sewing machine with a lot of patience, time and skill.
