A gorgeous sterling silver Pacific Northwest Totem style pendant featuring the wise Raven in flight. The Raven is a cultural focus of the Northwest Coastal People, known as the wise and intelligent trickster he is credited with gifting man the sun and in the course of his efforts blackening his snow white feathers to ebony. This beautifully detailed piece is strung onto a sterling 19 1/2" spiraled rope chain. Marked "sterling" as well popular as with a makers mark that I am not familiar with. The chain in marked .925. 16 grams in total weight. In fine vintage condition.
